Good 57º afternoon.
Yesterday was a very special party for a very special little
girl. My granddaughter Sami will be 7 on March 2nd, but her party for her and
friends was yesterday at the Tap Rock. Pajama Party! Then this morning we met
again at Tap Rock for Sunday Brunch. Sami's request! Enjoy the
Smilebox.....
Today would have been the day we celebrated Harley Davidson's
birthday. He showed up at our house in 1991, just after Jerry got his Fat Boy
Harley. Jerry named the cat! He died 2-15-13... just two weeks prior to his 22nd
birthday!
Harley you are missed every single day. RIP buddy. I love and
miss you! ♥♥
My friend Miss Bonnie Seibert (her ex Jim Klinger worked with Jerry at the
BC Range) and her daughter Laurie are in India on a fun travel trip. Here they
are in front of the Taj Majal and then on a safari to find tigers....
This close proximity to so much unrest would make me nervous!

Dinner was rice cooker time... I had mini squashes in the fridge that
needed to be cooked ... So, I put 1/2 a cup of Quinoa in the rice cooker, 1 cup
water, 1 can artichoke heart quarters with liquid, 1 can sliced mushrooms with
liquid, and a handful of the bacon crumbles. Then I sauteéd the squash and the
Brussels sprouts I didn't use with the spaghetti dish, in a bit of olive oil. In the rice cooker they
went too....
Cooked until the cooker stopped and dumped in large bowl...
OMGOOOOOD!!!!
