Good 39º morning. Slept like a rock. Didn't want to get up this morning!
Patriots (Tom Brady) 31 ... Broncos (Peyton Manning) 21!!!
WHOOT WHOOT WHOOT. And WOW the Saints came out of their slump (0-4) and
beat San Diego! A shot in the arm the Saints needed!
10-8 in radio code talk means "in service" or as many would say "10-8 out
the gate".
Had a call yesterday morning early from Brian's cell phone. Sami was on the
line to tell me she had lost a tooth "at Disneyland!" It came out on the Thunder
Mountain ride. She said she got "Disney dollars" for it! They are all back home
and of course Brian had to go to work today. He said he needs a vacation from
his vacation! Probably because they walked every day for 4 days and closed the
park at night!
Atlas will go home today. He's been a funny houseguest. He lays on his
"living room bed" when I am watching TV, or on his back, or with his body on the
bed and his head is on the floor!
How sad Sheriff John died yesterday. When I was 8 and 9 years old I would
sometimes 'fake' a stomachache so I could stay home and watch his "Sheriff
John's Lunch Brigade" ... I loved Crusader Rabbit! Here is a look back...
I missed him on the birthdays for October 2nd, mainly because Wikipedia
doesn't have him listed! Born in 1919 he turned 93 5 days before he passed away.
RIP John.
