Put this on my FB page yesterday.........
Here is an ad produced by Veterans...
God Bless those men and women. FBO!
Someone I know is celebrating a birthday today... OMG Jerome Beck (LASD
ret.) you are at that 'interesting age' ! HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Historically this date...
..........Good grief!
So disturbing. So sick. So so sad.
1971 – Sold, dismantled and moved
to the United States, London
Bridge reopens in Lake Havasu City,
Arizona.
1973 – Vice
President of the United States Spiro Agnew resigns after
being charged with federal income tax evasion.
That was sad, as he was so likeable!
And births this date include....
.... unbelievable crash he was involved in Sunday at Talladega!
Monday I went to the market and was picking up items to make meat loaf
after Jeannie and I talked about hers, I was hungry for some...not the standard,
but something different. I picked up this loaf of bread called "Dave's Killer
Bread" ... omg it sounded fantastic. There are several kinds, all organic. I got
the Killer Light ... Here are the ingredients:
Organic whole wheat flour, organic cracked whole wheat, water, organic
dried cane syrup (sugar), grain mix (organic whole ground flaxseeds, organic
whole flaxseeds, organic sunflower seeds, organic oats, organic pumpkin seeds,
organic millet, organic rye, organic brown rice, organic triticale, organic
barley, organic unhulled sesame seeds, organic black sesame seeds, organic
amaranth flakes, organic buckwheat, organic rolled spelt, organic blue cornmeal,
organic yellow corn, organic KAMUT® khorasan wheat, organic poppy seeds, organic
quinoa, organic sorghum), organic wheat gluten, organic oat fiber, organic
molasses, sea salt, yeast, organic cultured wheat.
There are two kinds of light breads...one with 75 cal and one with 65
cal...
So, then I read the back of the loaf and it said that Dave Dahl is a former
drug dealer who spent more than fifteen years of his life in prison. He has been
arrested for drugs, trafficking, assault, armed robbery… you name it. In one of
the greatest comeback stories of all time though, he turned his life around.
Check the site www.daveskillerbread.com . You can
put your zip code in the "find a store" and try it yourself. It is AWESOME! Dave
quit drugs and is running a phenomenal business with the help of his family. See
his story. I'm impressed.
Dinner last night was beef tips in gravy with red potato and artichoke
hearts. Served with quinoa and roasted veggies.
In a hot pan with olive oil, cook the beef. Add minced garlic. Deglaze the
pan with white wine, adding in some beef base for big flavor. Add in some cream
cheese, melt it in and add cream of mushroom soup. Then add the pre-cooked red
potato and the drained artichoke hearts. The quinoa and roasted veggies had been
cooked last month and frozen.
