Good 37º foggy morning. We topped at 43º yesterday. Stayed dark and
gloomy all day.
He said he took x-rays and everything looks great. He's recovering fine.
Yeah!
Then since the new Costco is around the corner from the vet's office I
drove over there to take a look. Big! A gal in the vet's office said it's so
much bigger than the original one and nicer to shop in. Hobby Lobby will go into
the old Costco building.
Do you like Tamale Pie? I LOVE it. Here is a Mr. Food slow cooker version.

One this date in 1997 Jerry and I bought this house. We moved from Temple
City in 1998... Jerry almost immediately bought this 1940 John Deere tractor...
He was a happy camper having all this property and being able to be a
'farmer'!!
This funny
little house was built in 1935. A shack!
The
foundation is so odd, big rocks with trees sitting atop the rocks and the house
on top of the trees. Sort of like this:
No building
codes back then. At least it's still standing and a lot of improvements have
been made.
The people we
bought it from (after a number of modifications) said when they first came to
see the house the owners walked out the front door followed by a bunch of
chickens!
