Good 45º clear sunny morning.
In the morning first thing yesterday it was clear and sunny. Then the clouds moved in.
They were NOT supposed to! Had me wondering, as 4 years ago today, 2 years ago today, and 1 year ago today it rained!
You know the first day of summer isn't until June 21st......... but yesterday we heated up to 88º!!! OMGOSH, almost 90º and still just April!
And in the morning there were no turkeys, geese, or deer out. WHATHAPPENED? Those guys are ALWAYS out and about. Than about 11am two of the Toms showed up. I was worried. Never did hear or see the geese all day but a couple deer came out.
This recipe I got about 20 years ago from my pal Patty Kuehl. It is soooooo good and super easy for a great dip....
Patty's Goop
1 small carton small curd cottage cheese
1 8oz cream cheese, softened
1 bunch green onions, chopped
3 or 4 canned jalapeños, chopped
3 T. jalapeño juice
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. French dressing
3 T. mayonnaise
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Mix all together, cover, refrigerate over night.
Add more jalapeños or green onions to taste.
Serve with cut up veggies and crackers.
My Schwans order arrived yesterday. I got the following...
Chicken Alfredo Skillet Meal
Orange Chicken Skillet Meal
Shrimp & Broccoli Alfredo Skillet Meal
Golden Fruit Blend
Whole Strawberries
Triple Berry Blend
One thing about their fruits, you just take out what you want and then keep the rest frozen til you want to have some again. This is cool, as they don't get old and rot waiting for you to eat them!
Key Lime Pie
Chocolate Cream Pie
After a month Schwans is still out of their Pork & Chicken Egg Rolls. Leon, my Schwans driver, said he understands that they are made in Houston at the Schwans headquarters and after the hurricane and flooding they suffered it put the plant a giant step backwards and they are trying to catch up. Hopefully they will be back soon!
Special birthday today... Vince Governatori (LASD ret) is celebrating! HAPPY BIRTHDAY VINCE!!!

Later for dinner I cooked some fresh refrigerated 3 cheese ravioli. In the mean time I put a bit of olive oil and a couple tablespoons of water in a pan and heated the broccoli. Then in went the Roasted Garlic Classico Alfredo Sauce and the Shredded Chicken in Buffalo Sauce, and finally the ravioli.
This chicken is soooooooooooo good. Harvest Creek Shredded White Chicken in Buffalo Sauce. I got it at Costco. It's also sold at Amazon.com, Wal-Mart, and Sams. Probably other stores also. Here are a number of recipes that can be made with this canned chicken...
Then it was chair, wine, and TV, and Bruiser on my lap!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.

National Administrative Professional's Day, also known as Secretaries Day or Admin Day, is observed on the Wednesday of the last full week in April of each year. It is a day to recognize the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists and other administrative support professionals.
HOW TO OBSERVE
National Administrative Professionals’ Day is often celebrated with gifts to one’s assistant, such as flowers, gift certificates, gift baskets, candy or lunch. Honor your assistant by sharing your gratitude on social media using #AdminProfessionalsDay.
HISTORY
National Administrative Professionals’ Day is an unofficial national holiday. However, this special day coincides with National Secretaries Week. In June 1952, U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Charles Sawyer proclaimed National Secretaries Week. In that same year, June 4 was designated National Secretaries Day.
