Good 31ยบ morning.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my beautiful 15 year old granddaughter Alex!
Yesterday the blue sky actually poked through. Took this on my way to Grants Pass...
The trees at the top of the mountain are still frozen white.
The Law Enforcement/Fire lunch was good, except for I left my 'go away' box on the table! I had the Chef's Salad. Really good! Lots of ham! The "fellas" and I had an enjoyable time. There were only 4 of us LASD people. The rest were LAPD and from various departments in So and No Ca as well as Phoneix Az. A newby showed up and joined our table. He was a Lt. at Simi Valley PD and had trained with an old high school buddy of mine who became a member of SEB (Special Enforcement Bureau), Gary (Duke) Rovarino! Duke and I used to hold hands in English Lit class! :o)
On the way home I got my truck washed. It had turned a gray from all the storms I went through going to and coming back from Ca. The sky was still somewhat clear and sunny....
Maggie went exploring in the creek out back...
And Patty called me to say "look at the sunset!"....
Awesome!Historically this date...

....
and 1996 Alexandria Margaret! When she was little she couldn't say her name... it came out "Andy-sandi Mar-got". Too cute!
All I know. Off to GP again, this time to get the oil changed in my truck and have them fix the rear lift door that has ceased to work. Ciao.
