Historically this date...

1941 – United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt declares December 7 to be "a date which will live in infamy", after which the U.S. and the Republic of China declare war against Japan.

1980 – John Lennon, an English musician and peace activist, is murdered by Mark David Chapman, a mentally unstable fan, in front of The Dakota apartment building inNew York City.

And births this date include...
1930 – Maximilian Schell, Austrian-born Swiss actor and film director (d.2014)

1933 – Flip Wilson, American comedian (d. 1998)
LOVED his Geraldine! Jerry could do it perfectly!

1937 – James MacArthur, American actor (d. 2010)
The original 'Danno' on Five-O from 1968-1980. Jack Lord's partner. Loved it, love the new one!

1953 – Kim Basinger, American actress

Later dinner was chicken cordon bleu (Omaha Steaks) cooked in the Air Fryer. Served on spinach drizzled with olive oil and garlic salt and yams I cooked in the Crock Pot.

Then it was chair, wine, Chicago Fire... and a fire in the wood stove. Haven't done that in a while. The old back doesn't like carrying in those logs. Anyway, we were all so snuggy!!!

Tonight's NFL game:

All I know. Nuff said. Happy TBT. Ciao.

National Brownie Day

National Brownie Day celebrates chocolatey, chewy brownies.
Brownie lovers, love chocolate. Conversely, chocolate lovers, love brownies. Therefore, its only natural, that we have a special day to celebrate brownies.
It's fun and easy to enjoy this special day. First, select your favorite brownie recipe, and bake a batch of brownies. You can add nuts, if you prefer. Topping the brownies with chocolate frosting is a good thing, too. Finally, eat them! You can have them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or as a snack.
PS. Don't forget the glass of milk!
