Good 46º clear sunny morning.
Maxed out at 84º yesterday. Stand by for today!
Had a call from Kristen yesterday morning. She is doing well. Back to work
yesterday. School starts in 3 weeks. She is the school secretary and they have
to get organized for the new semester. She will be off on Fridays for the next 6
weeks for the chemo. Keep her in your prayers. xo
Yesterday I did a run into town to pick up a package at the post office,
deposit a check, and pick up a prescription. Ran into Patty and Cliff at the
post office. Nice! Then to the liquor store, as it was National Scotch Day and I
went through all the bottles of booze I have and no Scotch! Grrr... So bought
one.
The glass I used some might remember from the 50's and 60's ... a Kraft
pimento cheese glass. These were filled with the cheese and a lid attached. I
have a few. The cheese is still put into glasses, but they are plain. Check
these out... we had some with the tulips on them too:
Later I toasted "To Scotland, to Scotch, to kilts, to bagpipes
, to kyber toss
, and to Sean Connery
Hail Scotland, home of my Mother's
parents.
My Mother's mother was clan Dunbar...

Then it was a stop at PJ and Dave's to water. Got the pots filled and
turned on the timer for the soakers and sprinklers.
Earlier I had taken a picture of "my mountain" (Fielder Mountain) with some cumulus clouds. I
sent it to our So Oregon/No California TV station, KOBI, to the weather guy,
Adam Kolpack. On the 6pm news he used my photo. I was SO
EXCITED!!!!
This is the picture...
I copied the weather broadcast and put it on youtube:
It was on again for the 11 o'clock news and Adam said the name of Fielder
Mountain.

Later I went back to PJ and Dave's to turn off the timers and
water. Dude went with me. Noticed a truck and some moving going on at the vacant
rental down by the road. Stopped in and met Tenicia, Matt, their daughter
Caitlan, their son, and Tenicia's dad Robert. Daughter is 9, their son, can't remember his
name, is 6. Robert has a tree trimming business here locally. Nice folks. All locals, but Tenicia Matt and the kids had
just moved back from Northridge CA.
Phone chat with Linda, Patty and Cliff's daughter-in-law. She
had back surgery last week, but is recovering well. Same thing I had but I had

Then it was chair, wine, and another Hallmark movie! Oh, and the news of course, that made me famous with my photo of the mountain!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao.
