Good 32º , very foggy, morning. Hit 70º yesterday. Oh my it was NICE!~ I had the doors open. Comfy! Should be somewhat cloudy today and then precip tomorrow and possibly snow Monday night and then SUN is coming again!
I received a whole email full of good advice from Don Davies. Made me laugh! Here is #1 on the list:
"Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by gettin someone else to hold the vegetables while you chop."
I also received this neat video, from my friend Dee Yellin, of a bear and a cat who are friends at our local Grants Pass Wildlife Images:
Ok, try this....
From Beth at www.budgetbytes.blogspot.com :
Boursin Mashed Potatoes!
Peel potatoes and cut into cubes. Add enough water to cover, add lid, turn on high and bring to boil. Boil until the potatoes fall apart, drain, and return them to the warm pot with the burner off. Add a little milk to keep them moist and add the Boursin and mash it in. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Yesterday I did chores, tossed out more stuff, and moved furniture around.
I finally opened up the box I received from J&D Foods. I cooked a couple Ocean Mist® California artichokes (the BEST... get at Costco) and opened up a jar of J&D Baconnaise ® to dip the leaves in ... OH MY GOODNESS ... what a taste treat! The bacon flavored mayonnaise is AWESOME! I can't say enough! Wonderful!
Order from J&D Foods at www.baconnaise.com Next: lettuce tomato sandwich with Baconnaise was for breakfast already! YOWSA! Just thinking about it makes me drool! Then I'm going to have some with fish, and then some with french fries, and then on a brisket sandwich, and then maybe with chips, and then as a veggie dip, and then how about tossed with roasted or stir fried cabbage or on a fried egg sandwich or... DEVILED EGGS! ..... be still my heart! Shoot, it's good just eating it by the spoonful out of the jar!
I saw these guys showing off...
Took the picture through the door and the screen and over a porch rail and a fence rail... but you get the idea!
Maggs was watching me, as usual...
I just LOVE her little face!
.... and then the clear sky sunset...
