Good 33º scattered cloud morning.
Yesterday the clouds were dark and so was the gloom....
By early afternoon we got some sun peeking through the clouds....
Then all the clouds left and we had sunshine and reached 62º!
Dude was happy.....

Interesting.... Boxers
The Boxer is a medium-sized, short-haired breed of dog, developed in Germany. The coat is smooth and tight-fitting; colors are fawn, brindled, or white, with or without white markings. The name "Boxer" is supposedly derived from the breed's tendency to play by standing on its hind legs and "boxing" with its front paws.
Boxers have a square muzzle, very strong jaws, and a powerful bite ideal for hanging on to large prey. The Boxer is a member of the Working Group.
The first Boxer club was founded in 1895, with Boxers being first exhibited in a dog show in Munich the next year. Based on 2013 American Kennel Club statistics, Boxers held steady as the seventh-most popular breed of dog in the United States for the fourth consecutive year.
However, according to the AKC's website, the boxer is now the eighth-most popular dog breed in the United States. Boxers have white and black markings.
Boxers are a bright, energetic and playful breed and tend to be very good with children. They are patient and spirited with children but also protective, making them a popular choice for families.
They are active, strong dogs that require adequate exercise to prevent boredom-associated behaviors such as chewing, digging, or licking. Boxers have earned a slight reputation of being "headstrong," which can be related to inappropriate obedience training. The Boxer, by nature, is not an aggressive or vicious breed. It is an instinctive guardian and can become very attached to its family.

Yesterday became a very sad day, friend and travel companion Laura Kath passed away from Oral Head and Neck Cancer. She struggled for at least the last 7 years.
Laura was BFF with my nephew's wife, Melinda. A group of us went on a trip to Greece and Turkey back in 2009.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.

February 8th annually recognizes National Boys Scouts Day. Since 1910, boys across America have been doing good deeds, learning survival skills and developing moral foundations through the Boy Scout of America.
The Boy Scouts of America has roots in the British Boy Scouts organization which was created in 1908 after the success of the book Scouting for Boys by Robert Baden-Powell.
On a foggy day in London an American newspaperman, William Dickson Boyce, became lost when a Boy Scout came to his assistance. With the boy’s guidance, Boyce arrived at his destination. When Boyce offered payment for the assistance, the Boy Scout refused explaining it was a good deed.
Boyce was inspired to organize similar youth groups into one organization. On February 8, 1910, Boyce filed papers of incorporation, and the Boy Scouts of America was born.
Boy Scouts have had a profound impact on the United States. Many presidents and other dignitaries have been Boy Scouts. A total of 181 Astronauts have also been a part of the Boy Scout program.
