Fires ~ Baby Deer ~ Prison Blues ~ Suddenly Salad ~ Fries

Good 55º still smokey morning. Fires going .... yesterday it was really bad with all the smoke filling in our valley...

Thankfully the AC is working great now, so we stayed in and enjoyed the cool clean air!

I noticed this baby deer out back munching on grape leaves.... this is the baby whose twin was hit by a car down on the road. That was sad.

Turkey, momma, and baby all enjoying a snack and water.

PJ came up and we sat and chatted over a glass of wine. She is so busy with her overnight pet sitting right now. We don't see each other very often. It was nice to catch up.

Dinner last night was some Suddenly Salad and reruns of Bill's awesome smoked ribs (I got a 'to go' bag!)

The dressing mix is in the box and you just add mayonnaise.

PJ brought me a pepper from her garden. Looked innocent enough so decided to put it in the salad....

Cook, drain, and cool the pasta......

I added the pepper and some tomato .....
