off ramp and Janie and I took him to Redding ....half way to their house in
Modesto) to Tammy & Gary... see how their other lab, Jaco, has his rear leg
resting on him!.... and renamed him Sideways.... Dog Lovers... all

As for the Grammys.... I am too old I guess to be interested
in most of that junk. Very little of the "new" music is worth listening to.
LL Cool J stupid in that hat.
Tom Jones older than dirt.
Pharrell Williams, no hat (until he sang) BUT wearing
shorts??? Oh come on. And yellow shoes???
How sad Miley Cyrus and her tongue didn't win.
Hmmmmmm.... Madonna.
Megan Trainer and "All about that bass" is so irritating I
hope I don't have to be subjected to it again!
OVamit on video talking about abused women? Thought this was an awards
show.
The victim they chose to expound on her abuse was QUITE the actress!
Lady Gaga ..... Gag. Singing is OK, but the makeup, tattoos, and outfits
make me gag. Tony Bennett is still alive!
I like Usher's voice. The trouble with good singing the music TOO loud. Let's hear the artists!
The stage set-ups sucked. There wasn't enough light. Everything was dark.

Taylor Swift, groan.

On Monday when I took my computer to Turk I stopped in at Gooseberries. I
have been buying Cucina & Amore Puttenesca from Amazon for a while. Found
out they now carry that brand at Gooseberries.
I had given some of this to Jeannie a while back and she loves it too.
Gooseberries has several kinds of Cucina & Amore sauces. Should have bought
one of each! http://www.cucinaandamore.com/index.html
Here is the locator site for Cucina and Amore so you can find it in your
area:
Spaghetti alla
puttanesca (literally "spaghetti of the
whore" in Italian) is a tangy, somewhat salty Italian pasta dish invented in the mid-20th
century. The ingredients are typical of Southern
Italian cuisine: tomatoes, olive
oil, olives, capers and garlic.
Yesterday was a trip into Medford (or as we call it...Methford!) I saw Dr.
Sanchez. He is soooooooooooo nice and a joy to talk to. The crackling in my ear
has stopped and at his suggestion I am taking a melatonin/serotonin
inducing natural herb. I wore my cat sweatshirt
and the doc liked it. Dr. Sanchez
said he loved cats. He was raised with them when he lived in Spain. The gal at the front desk in the medical building, Carla, is also a cat lover and we talked about her cats and my Bruiser. Also earlier
at the gas station the attendant (can't remember his name!) noticed my shirt
also and told me about the momma cat and kittens dropped off at his house. They
found homes for all of them and they decided to keep two of the kittens. He says
when he goes into the bathroom and fills the tub with water one of the cats
comes in, jumps into the tub, and swims!!! OMG. Never heard of a cat liking
water that way!
Then off to Costco. They had avocados for the first time
in a while and I got lots of vegetables and a Valentine's cake. It's a red velvet with cream cheese frosting. YUMMMMM..........................
I also got a Cranberry Walnut bread round...
And, I didn't know it but today is National Tortellini Day and I bought
some cheese filled tortellini
Look Alex, it's an Italian food day on your birthday!!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

TORTELLINI
Tortellini (tor-teh-LEE-nee) is a small pasta stuffed with a variety of fillings, and a favorite pasta dish worldwide. It is also served in soups, as in the classic dish, tortellini in brodo. Tortellini originated in Bologna and is accompanied by a legend: When the goddess Venus stayed in a tavern on the outskirts of the city, the innkeeper spied on her through the keyhole of her room, but could catch only a glimpse of her navel. Spellbound, he went to the kitchen and, to capture this vision, shaped freshegg pasta into the navel-sized tortellini.
