Good 45º clear sunny morning.
We topped out at 87º yesterday. Nice.
Yesterday I ran a few errands. I want to order Jelly Bean
wine, made in California, but none of the wine stores are open before noon, or
4pm around here! I had contacted one store, Napa (new in town) and they were
going to call me back about the ordering, but never have!
So, next was a short visit at Kitchen Company with Jennifer
and the ladies. Next Safeway for groceries and a nice chat with checker Lisa,
who was a NY Corrections Officer prior to moving to Oregon. I had on my "Lawn
Enforcement Officer" shirt and she loved it!
Mine is yellow.
Mine is yellow.
Then to the vets to get dog and cat meds for fleas and ticks and heartworm, Ace for a new swivel aerator for the kitchen faucet, pharmacy for prescriptions, and to Rays for boneless skinless chicken thighs on
sale~!

I
am so glad he and that odd Bridgett Moynahan are not together anymore. She's on
Blue Bloods, one of my fav shows, but I can't stand her character. Actors do not
fall too far from the tree of who they really are when acting! She and Len Cariou are the
two I can't stand!
Ok, off the soapbox!
These are funny... tee shirts available...
Later dinner was reruns. Then chair, wine, and TV.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.

August 3rd
August 3, 2016 is
National
Watermelon Day
Today is National Watermelon Day! Watermelon is a delicious summer fruit
that has become a staple at family picnics and cookouts. Did you know that
watermelons are 92% water? No wonder they’re so refreshing!
There are around 300 different kinds of watermelon in the U.S. and
Mexico. You can find red, pink, white, and yellow varieties in various sizes and
shapes. Watermelons are usually quite large, and many county fairs award prizes
for the biggest ones. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the
heaviest watermelon weighed 262 pounds. To learn more interesting watermelon
facts, check out www.watermelon.org.
To celebrate National Watermelon Day, have some watermelon for dessert
tonight! Slice it up and eat it plain, cook it on the grill, mix it into a
salsa, or blend it into a cocktail.
Enjoy!
