Sometimes we do such stupid things... like for example I have 5 phones in my house...

by my desk, in the kitchen, next to my chair, in the bathroom, and next to my bed. These are all cell phones, but I do have one hard-wired phone for when the electricity goes out. Anyway, fell asleep in my chair Tuesday night, got up, went to bed. The next day I couldn't find the phone that is next to my chair. Looked EVERYWHERE (apparently NOT), took the chair apart, exasperated.... no phone. Talked to Jeannie later and she said, "Did you look outside on the porch? You know, you probably took it out there when you were dealing with the dog, Smoke".... I said, "No, I didn't take a phone out there." Kept looking. Then decided to push the "locate" button. All the phones but that one were making noise. In the night I had the idea to just push the "locate button and then the phone # button. The missing one was #2. Did that, ran through the whole house. Nope. Then thought I heard "something"... did it again and LO AND BEHOLD it was on the front porch railing! OMG. My go to GURU is now Jeannie for EVERYTHING! LOL, stand by Jeannie, I can't find the George Foreman Grill!!!!

I like to put my leftovers in plastic zip bags for flat storage in the fridge or freezer. I got one of these recently and love it.

You can go to their site, click on store locator, and it appears in most areas they sell them at Bed Bath and Beyond. I found mine at Fresh Finds:
You can either put it over a pot, like above, or hold it in your hand. Sure works great!

Yesterday, still gloomy and warmed only to the 50ºs... the deer were out socializing with the turkeys....Then by late afternoon the sun was out and it was in the mid 70ºs!!

The sun finally came out and it warmed to the low 70ºs! Nice. The woodpeckers were also enjoying a snack... Normally all 5 are eating... Just 4 this time.

And since I had my long 600mm lens out I got a close up shot of Dude.... feels like he's right by you, eh?

I think I need this shirt:

Dinner last night was Chopped Asian Salad I get from Costco. It has crunchy toppings and dressing in the bag. REALLLLLY GOOOD!!! I added in some extra sliced carrots.

Made and packaged by www.taylorfarms.com in the Salinas valley, they have lots of good stuff and recipes on their site.

After dinner it was my chair and my Bruiser!!!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

It's Ear Muff Day

What do you call a dog wearing ear muffs? (scroll down)

Ear Muff Day celebrates a warm invention...the ear muff! People in cold climates can really appreciate this day. And, they are ever so thankful to the person who created the ear muff. If you live in Florida, you might not even know what an ear muff is.
Ear muffs keep your ears warm, and protect you from ear infections and earaches resulting from icy cold wind and weather. Manufacturers have responded to their popularity with a variety of designs and colors, making one to fit almost anyone's personality.
It is really easy to celebrate Ear Muff Day.... just wear your ear muffs!

Call him anything you want. He can't hear you!
