Our Maggie girl 14 years ago...
I had to make a drive into Medford yesterday to see my
Rheumatologist, Dr. Theerapol Prasertsuntarasai. Yeah right, I can't pronounce
it either, so I call him Dr.T! It was POURING rain all the way there and back.
On the freeway you couldn't see anything!!! So many idiots driving without their
lights on and the big semi trucks blowing up the water was another factor!
When I pulled into my gate, the creek coming down the hill from the pond
was almost overflowing onto the road...
A couple deer scampered away...

Letter to Spouse:
Hi Sweetheart,
I am sorry about
getting into an argument about putting up the Christmas lights. I guess that
sometimes I feel like you are pushing me too hard when you want something. I
realize that I was wrong and I am apologizing for being such a hard-headed guy.
All I want is for you to be happy and be able to enjoy the holiday season.
Nothing brightens the Christmas spirit like Christmas lights! I took the time
to hang the lights for you today; and now I will be off to play some
golf...
Again, I am very sorry for the way I acted yesterday. I'll be home late |
Her response ~
Hi Honey,
Thank you for that heart-felt
apology. I don't often get an apology from you, and I truly appreciate it. I,
too, felt bad about the argument and wanted to apologize. I realize that I can
sometimes be a little pushy. I will try to respect your feelings from now
on. Thank you for taking the time to hang the Christmas lights for me. It
really means a lot. In the spirit of giving, I washed your truck for you; and
now I am off to the mall.
I love you too!
I love you too!
Sweet friend Laura Kath is having surgery today. Prayers and
good wishes for a fast recovery Laura! HUGS.
And pal Dee Yellin had a surgery yesterday and her Dale said
she's doing great. THANK GOODNESS Dee. HUGS!!!!
Dinner last night, an experiment. Mac & Cheese. Macaroni, celery (3
stalks), fire roasted diced tomatoes, peas, capers, cheese (shredded cheddar and
Jack .. from Costco), and cut up ham.
Cook 3 cups macaroni in garlic salted water 8 minutes. Drain. Mix all the
other ingredients....
Then add in the macaroni and 3 cups of cheese.
Spray cooking spray in a 9x13 pan. Add mac mixture, bake 350º 1 hour. Take
out of oven and sprinkle on 1 cup cheese, bake 15 minutes more.
I served it up on fresh baby spinach...that had been drizzled
with olive oil and sprinkled with Lawry's Garlic Salt....
OMGOOOOOOD!!!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TBT. Ciao.
