Good 50º clear sunny morning.
Yesterday was "laundry day". Over the top excitement!
At about 11am it was only 74º and Dude was out happy napping
in the sun!
As the day progressed we got up to 90º by 2:30.
OMGOSH, I posted this 4 years ago this
date:
"STOP THE PRESSES!!!
Baby is a boy cat! Don't ask, but confirmed by me, a mother
and grandmother, he has the necessary stuff to call him a boy! I'm still keeping
his name as Baby. Since he is black and white I could call him Radio Car or
Cruiser (Crew-za if we were in New Jersey!) Maybe I'll call him Baby Cruiser. or
Bruiser! LOL"
This was him then...
He slept and ate on the front porch. Now,
of course, he owns several spots in the house and claws the screen door when he
wants to come in and eat and nap! Of course he cuddles with me on the bed at
night!
Today a high school friend, Doug Gossage (with his
Brigitte)
is celebrating her day today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you both!!!!!! (LOOKING
GOOD Babette!!!)

Yesterday Brian came over. I had asked him if he wanted
my "shaker machine" for Sami, as she LOVES getting on it and singing while
shaking! He didn't have enough room for it but asked the Motion Martix (gym
where Sami takes her gymnastics) if they wanted it and they said yes.
I got it to lose weight, but it just made my back hurt
more...
I had the hand truck out so he could roll it, but being the
Superman that he is, he just picked it up and carried it out to his
truck!
Before he did that he put my stationary bike together for me.
He did it so quickly I was totally flabbergasted! It would have taken me a week
to do it!!!
Ok, now I can watch TV and exercise at the same time! It has a
holder for the TV controller on it or you can put you cell phone in it. Dang,
but no wine holder!!
The bike is sooooooooooooooooo quiet and comfortable. It gives
you your pulse, distance traveled, and time you peddled.
After Brian had left to take the shaker to the gym he sent me
this video of Sami and her pals... I couldn't stop laughing!
Dinner was a hot dog, since it was Hot Dog Day! I didn't have
any hot dog buns so used a slightly toasted slice of sourdough bread sprayed
with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. Sauteéd the hotdogs. I put on some of my
homemade cucumber relish and some mustard and a little cheese.
OMGOOOOOOD!!!!
Then it was chair, wine, and TV. I watched a recorded Dog
Tales. Months ago I had sent in a picture of Dude. They show people's dogs a
couple times during the show. SUDDENLY THERE WAS DUDE!!!!!!'
OMGOSH, I was blown away!!! Dude is famous!!! I was laughing
as there was a dog named:
There were also dogs named Jackson (my grandson) and one named
Maggie and one named Jerry!!!!! How fun was that!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Sunday. Ciao.

July 24th
National Tequila Day
Here's to you Darling!!!
(Oh
yes!)
.•*¨*•♫♪
Well, it's
Sunday mornin',
And the sun is
shinin' in my
Eye that is
open,
And my head is
spinnin',
Was the life of
the party,
I can't stop
grinnin',
I had too much
tequila last night.
(Chorus:)
José Cuervo you
are a friend of mine.
I like to drink
you
with a little
salt and lime.
Did I kiss all
the cowboys?
Did I shoot out
the lights?
Did I dance on
the bar?
Did I start any
fights?
Now wait a
minute,
Things don't
look too familiar.
Who is the
cowboy who's sleepin' beside me?
Well, he's
awfully cute,
But how'd I get
his shirt on?
I had too much
tequila last night.
(Chorus)
All those
little shooters,
How I love to
drink them down.
Come on
bartender, let's have another round.
Well, the music
is playin',
And my spirits
are high.
Tomorrow might
be painful,
But tonight
we're gonna fly.
(Chorus)
José
Curervo
You are a
friend of mine.
I like to drink
you with a little salt and lime.
Everytime we
get together,
I sure have a
good time.
You're my
friend, you're the best...
Mí
Amigo....
(Chorus)
José Cuervo,
you are a friend of
mine!
