Good 39ยบ drizzling morning. According to the 'weather people' it wasn't
supposed to rain until late tonight. Fine. Then we are in for a BIG storm, with
lots of wind and rain. Who knows.
Yesterday I met up with Bill and Jeannie for a drink to celebrate their
anniversary at Blondie's Bistro.
(just playin' with Photoshop!)
We had a nice chat and then went to the Elk's lodge for a glass of wine,
where Willie, the bartender, treated them to their drink. Came home and had a
bowl of Progresso Minestrone (really good soup!).

All I know. Catch up day again. Happy Hump Day. I hope my children are
feeling better.... Brian with possible strep throat and Kristen with the stomach
flu. Mom worries! Ciao.

paninni sandwich... fill with meat and cheese...or just cheese
slice pre-made polenta and waffle... serve with black beans
top a waffled tortilla with salsa...
waffle a double layer of pizza dough... top with feta cheese and micro
greens... set in microwave for a few seconds to melt cheese...
or....
top with mozzarella and baked or seared
tomatoes, heat in oven, under broiler, or in microwave to melt cheese.
or....... with a 12" piece of dough, lay half in the iron, and cook til
golden, pile on some leftover mac and cheese, top with other half and waffle for
