Good 51º cloudy morning. Yesterday we hit 98º by 3:30. Probably the same
today, but all the same, praying for rain!!!
Received this from friend Mo Mayer... OMG, if you are a cat lover or not,
this is fun and funny.
Scroll down and click on "8 Things Cat People Understand That Other's
Don't" .... read the 8 things but also click on the video. Turn up your sound if
you love the song, "You Don't Own Me" as much as I do. Song Lesley Gore made a
hit in 1964!
Yesterday I ran "5 Miles"... Dude and I took the trash to the can and put
it up on the road
He runs all the way from the house and then I make him wait in the golf
cart down at the road. When we turn around he runs back to the house.
Look, someone hung a balloon on my address sign! Musta been a "birthday"
thing. They were droopy, but I didn't see them there before. ?
Breakfast was non-fat plain Greek yogurt, tomato, yam, and avocado...
My friend Brooklyn Vivia told me about keeping an avocado from turning
brown. She took out the seed, sprayed the half with cooking spray and wrapped it
in aluminum foil. It works! 2 days in the fridge and no brown!! Thanks
Viv~!
BTW, this was GOOD!!! Love yams. Love tomatoes. Love avocados. Love yogurt!
So then I cleaned up my desk, went through mail, and then started in on
thank you notes.
Saturday night I finished watching a movie... Being There with Peter
Sellers and Shirley MacLaine.
WHAT a weird movie! I just couldn't get into it. Sellers is a gardener,
can't read, can't write, and just watches TV. He speaks in simple sentences. The
plot was, well I was at a loss to figure it out. In the very end of the movie he
walks on water. HUH?
Got a text and picture from Brian yesterday... look where they were! Jen posted the one of Brian Sami and Tucker on her FB page. Haven't heard the rest of the story yet. I was pea green!!! Oh man, an animal
burger and animal fries. Drool... SOON In-N-Out! Soon!!!!
