Good 57º cloudy morning.
Yesterday the cloud cover lasted all day and the temps stayed
in the 60ºs til nearly 11am. Then it climbed to the 70ºs. By 1pm we were in the
80ºs and the clouds were thinning. We topped at 88º. The clouds were mixed with
smoke from a couple of the fires... one in Ca and one in Or...

Ok, here's a great short story shared by pal Gator:
A very self-important college freshman was attending a recent football
game. He took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen sitting next to him
why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his
generation.
"You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one", the
student said loud enough for many of those nearby to hear. "The young people of
today grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, man walking on the
moon, our spaceships have visited Mars. We have nuclear energy, electric and
hydrogen cars, computers with light speed processing, and .....", pausing to
take another drink of his beer.
The Senior took advantage of the break in the student's litany and said,
"You're right, son. We didn't have all those things when we were young... so we
invented them. Now, you arrogant little shithead, what are you going to do for
the next generation?"
The applause was deafening. Ya gotta love senior citizens!

For dinner I found an Omaha Steaks stuffed baked potato in the
freezer, so cooked it in the Air Fryer. It came out all perfect and crunchy on
top! Also found some cooked boneless skinless chicken thighs that I tossed with
olive oil and cooked in the Air Fryer also. That along with spinach and
tomatoes....
As you well know, that Air Fryer has become my favorite
kitchen appliance! http://www.powerairfryer.com/
So then it was a phone chat with a couple pals and chair, wine, and TV.
