Good 25ยบ Spring? Ha! morning.

Made a quick run to the market yesterday for the Friday
Deal... fresh Chinook Salmon on sale. Got a couple good size pieces. LOVE fresh
salmon! Found long toothpicks, not as long as Nancy has been looking for, but
longer than normal (for olives in their martinis!) so dropped those off. Got
some daisy's and tulips for Cindy for her birthday and dropped those off.
Here's a hint to clean stuck on food in a frying pan.. add
vinegar. Heat the pan, scrub off the stuck on bits with a wooden spoon and it
will clean up nicely and won't damage the pan. You can also add a couple
teaspoons of baking soda.

Ok, here's the new ride. I traded in my 2009 (used when I
bought it in 2010) for a 2014. The amount they gave me for the '09 paid off the
car loan, put the down on this one to lease for 3 years, and gave me a fat
check! Brian brokered the deal. After he having worked for Roger Penske in
So.Cal and a couple car dealerships up here before opening his State Farm
office, he knows cars! I am pleased. As you can see, this one has more shiny on
it..the wheels! And of course Bruiser has to check out every single vehicle that
shows up here! You can see his monster paw prints (extra toe on each foot) on
the '09. They will soon be on the '14. When summer gets here and the rains
stop... the muddy foot prints are gone too.

National Goof Off Day
Now here's a day that just about everybody can relax and enjoy. It's a
day to do anything and everything.....except what you're supposed to do
today.
Assuming you won't get in trouble at work or school, go ahead and play
some golf, or play games all day. Spend extra time surfing the net. Go out and
spend the day window shopping with your favorite friend. Or, just read sit down
and read a book or watch Tv. This day is set aside for you to do anything you
enjoy doing.
A few years ago, a survey was performed to identify the most popular
activity for goofing off. The top activity was playing video games. Who
conducted the survey? Ninetendo.......no surprise. It kinda makes you wonder
just who might have had the brainstorm to create this day......hmmmm. Nowadays,
the most popular Goof Off Day activity is likely playing games on the internet,
or on our Smart Phones.
