Good 46ยบ clear morning.
Breakfast yesterday was one of Dave's Killer Bread Million Dollar
Buns:
OMG, his bread is soooooooooooooo good. Check the link for where to buy in
Oregon and California. Anyway, made a sandwich out of the leftover meatloaf and
veggies. OMGOOOD!
Jorge and crew (2 helpers) showed up about 8:30 to work on the barn. Using
brushes to get off any loose paint the pressure washing missed
and then to start painting on the
undercoat.
Jorge:
Dude wanted to stay outside and watch! (Yeah, right.)
Done until next weekend. They will be back to put on another coat of paint
and finish the trim.
Friday afternoon I met up with Brian and family at their house to take
Tucker's birthday gifts to him. His birthday is today but they left
early Saturday am to head to Eugene to the Ducks/Georgia football game at 11.
All the balloons were ready! BTW the Ducks beat Georgia 61-28 !!
What a game! AND... on the big screen in the stadium they had Tucker and
Sami on it! Jen got a picture. I can't wait to see it.
Then after the game they spent the night in Portland and a visit to
the zoo today.
Tucker is 11 years old. I got him a gift card to the Grants Pass bicycle
shop so he can pick out a new bike.
Also a framed picture of one of his fav Duck's player, Marcus
Mariota.
(He was Ducks first Hiseman Trophy winner and is now with the Tennessee
Titans.) http://www.goducks.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=205238133
He's ranked up there with Manning and Brady! Amazing young man.
Me and my boy!!! ♥
Today is also a special birthday, Steve Voors (LASD ret). HAPPY BIRTHDAY
STEVE!!! Hope it's GREAT! (With his bride, Barbara, a few years ago!)
Steven Scott Voors... aka "10-30 Dude"! Steve and Jerry were
radio car partners and good friends. Jerry nicknamed him '10-30 Dude' because
10-30 is a radio code for "does not conform to regulations" ! LOL. Here at
Jerry's retirement in 1998:
Steve and Tucker share the same middle name... which makes
Steve .. SSV .. and Tucker is TSP... teaspoon!
And... today is Dee and Dale's lab, Sami's 7th birthday. Happy Birthday
Sami!
