Yesterday's NFL games:

And tonight's.....

So, yesterday was just a slow and easy day. Dinner was some of that Honeybaked ham and rice and veggies.

Kristen and Alex and Jack went to a Chinese restaurant for last night's dinner.

Did you know that in Japan the number one meal for Christmas is Colonel Sanders Chicken?? Wow.

Brian Jen Tucker Sami Jean Jimmy Kristen Alex and Jack all went to Shogun
for Christmas Eve dinner.. This was always a favorite place for Jerry, the kids, and I to go. That is where Kristen and Brian and Aaron learned to use chop sticks! LOVE Japanese food and this teppan grill and sushi restaurant is the best!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.

National Candy Cane Day

Candy Cane History Candy canes were created in 1670 in Germany, by the choirmaster of the Cologne Cathedral. He created sugar sticks for the young singers in the choir, to keep them quiet during the long Living ceremony. He bent the sugar-sticks to represent a shepherd's staff. At this point, candy canes were all-white and had no flavoring. They remained this way for more than 330 years. White candy canes can still be seen on Christmas cards dating to 1900. Shortly after then, the first red-and-white striped candy canes appeared. The name of the innovator is lost to history. At about the same time, confectioners added peppermint and wintergreen flavors to create the candy cane.
