Good 35º cloudy morning.
As I posted about turkey lettuce wraps yesterday I had to have some for
breakfast! Turkey lettuce wrap, avocado half, hard-boiled egg... all sprinkled

Yesterday on the So. Cal news they talked about El Niño
hitting hard in California this weekend! Also about 3 feet of snow is expected at
Tahoe! Hey, Jimmy and Mel, are you ready for more???
Dinner was something new-ish. I got some miso, freeze-dried all natural,
and decided on miso soup.
So ........... I brought to a boil 4 cups of water, added in the snipped
fresh chives, 4 T of the green dehydrated peas and 4 T of the vegetable soup
mix, and one egg, stirring it all well, then let it sit and low simmer for an
hour. Then I added in 8 t. of the miso powder. OMGOOOODNESS, sooooo good!!! It
didn't need any seasonings or salt.
I got the miso powder from here:

Yesterday afternoon after chores here I went to Grants Pass. Stopping at
Brian's office to pick up an atomic clock he fixed for me, take Emily the People
Magazines, and then to Safeway for groceries.
Bought out the produce section and got some soba noodles and crab to make a
stir-fry, with lots of veggies too!
Later I had the miso soup, chair, wine, TV.... and dang, another
zzzzzzzzzz. Missed half the show I was watching. Oh well, there is always
tonight!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

HUG A GI Day
Today is a day that we all can embrace. It's "Hug a GI Day". Give a great
big hug to any and all GIs you see today. The men and women in our armed forces
deserve our thanks and appreciation.
GI's perform an invaluable service to our country. They risk their lives
for our freedom, and to keep us safe. A simple hug is a small thanks for this
vital service to our
country.
