Good 28ยบ (nearly a heat wave) morning. Very cloudy out there.
Summit is still pretty covered....
Had Maggie at the vets at 9am yesterday. I called at 2pm and she had already come out of the anaesthetic and Joan said she wagged her tail at her. I picked her up at 4pm. She was still 'loopy' and missed the stairs coming up onto the porch. Poor baby girl.
The lump taken out of her shoulder will go for biopsy. She has a bunch of stitches and of course the surgical area was shaved, so with her Cushing's Disease the hair will never grow back, just like her 'baboon' butt after it was shaved to remove a cyst.
At least it's not something that bothers her. I have never seen her back up to the mirror and look at it over her shoulder... or say, "Does this make my butt look big?"
She is on pain meds 4x a day and I have to put triple antibiotic cream on the area.
She seems "back to normal" this morning.
Going into town it was weird yesterday to see the snow on the ground. Not something I see here... as when it snows I usually stay home. Surprisingly, not many cars out on the road!
.... and my road....
Was hungry for a BLT for "brunch"...

Today is a momentous prodigious stupendous occasion... good friends Joe and JoAnn Kirk are celebrating their 4th Wedding Anniversary!
Wow! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY kids.
They were married at the Long Beach Museum of Art, outside, over-looking the ocean. 35 guests on a perfect day. They honeymooned on Catalina Island...
