Good 43º drizzling morning.
Started in with the rain in the afternoon yesterday. Heard it
coming down pretty hard in the night. And I didn't even wash my
truck!
You will laugh...
These photos were taken right before a disaster...
OMG!
Yesterday a quick run into Grants Pass, waited til afternoon
as it was so danged cold all morning. Didn't warm up much. The drive into town
was gloomy....
Stopped at the Kitchen Company ...
( Their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Kitchen-Company/148366025186477 )
to drop off Jennifer and Mike's Elk's Crab Feed tickets.
Then stopped at Brian's office ...
for a quick visit and to drop off his requested item from Costco and pick
up my new iPhone!!! Getting to be a techie! LOL
Since I have an iPad this isn't as complicated as I thought it would be.
Brian got it all up and running then we went a couple doors down to the US
Cellular store and the gal transferred all my info from the old phone. It's very
cool. I love the photos it takes! Better than the ones with my little
Nikon!
with some questions about my camera. Showed the young man what happened
when I took a flash photo.. see where the light is coming in from the windows...
well, it would flash black and white right after the photo was taken. He said it
was one of the settings... he fixed it! YEAH!
Lastly the pharmacy for a prescription pick up and to the market for turkey
and chicken hot dogs for Dude.
Had a chat with Jeannie and sang Happy Birthday to Bill. (Poor Bill, his
hearing may not have recovered yet!) Then I fixed dinner....
I bought the Asian Chopped Salad at Costco. (check their website: www.taylorfarms.com ) It has cabbage,
carrots, celery, cilantro, cashews, black sesame seeds, almonds, wonton strips,
and Asian Sesame Dressing.
I sliced up the mushrooms and tossed them with some of my infused (garlic
onion red pepper) olive oil... (That's not wine, it's the bottle I put the
infused oil in.)
Chopped a couple tomatoes and mixed it all
together...
SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!

National Nothing Day
National
Nothing Day is quite simply... a day for nothing.
This
day is an "un-event". The expectation is that we do not create or otherwise
promote this day. In other words, we do nothing. And, to say anything more would
contradict the purpose of this day.
Celebrate
this day by doing....nothing. Of course, that assumes that doing nothing is okay
with your boss and/or your wife! (same same)
