Good 29º foggy morning.
Man, the temperatures stayed COLD and frozen yesterday. This was 10:30 in
the morning... 30º and that frozen fog....
By the end of the day we had topped at 47º.
I went into Grants Pass to run some errands and OMGOSH it was gloomy there.
Our fog lifted here and we got sun but no sun in GP!!!
I went to WinCo for the first time.
What a big and busy store!! I did save money. I got canned dog food (that
Dude gets in the evening) and on 10 cans of food I saved $8.00 over Safeway!
YES!!! Super nice employees there and a fun and friendly lady in line in front
of me. We chatted.
I placed and order with Torani for some of my favorite syrups. I know a lot
of you like your coffee plain, but I like mine sweet and sometimes with creamer.
I like the Torani Sugar Free syrups...
They can be ordered at www.Torani.com
Many flavors.... Irish Cream is good too! And they have many fruit flavors,
great for smoothies!
Here's an easy good side to go with your scrambled eggs in the
morning.....
Cheddar Bacon Puffs
1 7.5 oz pkg refrigerated biscuits (10 biscuits)
2 T bacon bits
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 T. sliced green onions
cooking spray
Preheat oven to 375º. Coat baking sheet with cooking
spray.
Separate biscuits and make an indention in the center of each
with your thumb. Sprinkle even amount of bacon bits in each, cheddar cheese, and
green onions.
Pull dough over filling and pinch together firmly so filling
is completely enclosed. Place seam side down on baking sheet. Lightly spray tops
with cooking spray.
Bake 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. Serve
warm.

And births this date include....
Later dinner was reruns.
Chair, wine, TV..... I watched a new show, apparently this was season 2, of :
starring Terry Bradshaw, William Shatner, Henry Winkler, and George Foreman. What a piece of JUNK! I was never so board in my life!! Well, the news does that to me too, but this certainly is not a show I enjoy. Watched about 15 minutes of it and that was all I could stand.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.

December 13, 2017 is
National Cocoa Day
It’s National Cocoa Day! Nothing is better on a cold winter day than a
delicious cup of hot cocoa! Cocoa is made from the dried, fully fermented seeds
of the cacao tree. It’s used to make cocoa powder, which a main ingredient in
the hot cocoa we all know and love. Fun fact: Monkeys were actually the first
creatures to discover that the cacao plant was edible – and tasty! Over 1500
years ago, monkeys began to eat the pulp of the plant and spit out the beans.
Humans soon caught on, and the rest is history.
Cacao trees are grown worldwide, but it is thought that the first ones
grew in South America. Cocoa is similar to wine, in that its flavor profile
differs based on where it’s grown. Lucky for us, cacao trees are very plentiful
– it takes 300-600 cocoa beans to make two pounds of chocolate!
To celebrate National Cocoa Day, make your favorite type of cocoa to
enjoy. For a holiday twist on a traditional cup of cocoa, try adding a candy
cane!
