Good 62º dark and gloomy cloudy smokey morning.
Yesterday breakfast was a Schwans Bacon Singles
Pizza....
Keep frozen and microwave 2½ minutes. Ingredients are a crust
topped with white gravy, scrambled eggs, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, and
bacon. Super good!
OMG!!! Yesterday we got rain!!!! Been praying for it! It started about
11:50am and lasted for an hour ... lots of thunder too. Everything got wet,
but there wasn't enough to measure. :o( Brian said it poured in Grants Pass. We
keep praying for more for the fires...
The turkeys weren't under the bush because of the smoke... it was because
it was raining!!!!
Our temps stayed in the 70ºs until late afternoon. We topped at 80º.
This video is HILARIOUS. I posted it a few years ago....
Captain Kirk watches Miley Cyrus!
Now you can't tell me this makes her parents proud! She is one
of the MOST disgusting people I have ever seen.
You know when "customer service" is really not there and you
have to deal with a company, it's over the top frustrating. My daughter's
washing machine quit working. She called Sears and a service rep was to come out
Wednesday between 1pm-5pm. So, Kris had to take half a day off work to be there.
The guy didn't show up until nearly 6pm! Then on top of that he said he didn't
know how to fix it! WHAT?????? Kris called Sears and was told in a really snotty
way that a rep would be sent out on Friday and they didn't seem to care she lost
half a day's work and will lose another today! IDIOTS! I told her to write a
letter to corporate! She is. Another reason Sears is going in the toilet. http://money.cnn.com/2017/01/05/investing/sears-kmart-closing-stores/index.html

National Date Nut Bread Day
Enjoy a tasty bread for the
holidays. It's the perfect bread for the season. It contains nuts and sugar, but
is not heavy on the sugar. Date nut bread is quite popular. You can make it
yourself, or buy some at the bakery. We suggest a couple of loafs. In our house,
a single loaf does not last long.
There is some question as to the correct date for this special day. A
survey of the net, resulted in roughly half of the references for this day
claiming it is on September 8th. In our survey, a very slight majority record
this special day on December 8. We go with the majority for two reasons: First,
it is the majority. Second, this day fits well in the holiday season. Date Nut
Bread is popular for the holidays.
Get your fill of Date Nut Bread today. After all, that's what this day is
for.
