National Kitchen Klutzes of America Day
These are the people who set out with the intentions of Paula Dean or
Julia Child as the open up the cookbook. Setting out the mixing bowl and
ingredients, they imagine knife cuts as swift as Wolfgang Puck or Bobby Flay.
However, reality quickly dissolves all those dreams as smoke billows from the
oven and salt is mistaken for sugar. Those knife cuts become bloody and cookies
and fingers are burnt. The Kitchen Klutz has struck, and visions of spilt milk
are pitifully cried over.
It may be necessary to keep a first aid kit and fire extinguisher handy
when Kitchen Klutzes are around. Be ready to call 911 and your favorite take
out if you’re still
hungry.

Good morning. Yesterday Gerry came down the stairs asking, "What's burning?" My answer, "Nothing. Yet."
LOL!!!
LOL I hate cooking but I'm not really a klutz in the kitchen.
Your salad looks so yummy. I often make something like that and dump in a can of tuna. So good and filling. Oh yes and I top it with cottage cheese and salsa. :)
I learned something new on your blog. I didn't know that WD40 would remove sticky stuff.
Love love Hallmark movies, especially the Christmas ones. I will have to catch this one on the 18th.
XO Trisha
LOL That's funny, Lydia! :)
