Good 48º cloudy might rain morning.... the radar shows the
rain going off to the east....
We got thunder about 3pm yesterday and then 12 or 6 drops of rain. Then
wind.
Yesterday I was going to mow, but instead decided on laundry
and cleaning out another kitchen cupboard. Pulled bunches of stuff out that I hadn't used in forever and I filled a ginormous trash bag!!!
Yes. And I have a grocery bag with stuff to take to the food bank in town. Good feeling to be able to see in a cupboard and see everything that's in there! More of the same, later this week!
Today would have been my granddog Atlas' birthday. He was
Brian Jen Tucker and Sami's Weimaraner. Sadly he passed away a couple of years
ago. So missed. Such a love. The best dog ever! So gentle with the kids. RIP
Atlas!

My sister Betty sent these to me... keys from Mom and Dad's house. The keys
were used from 1939 - 1968 when Daddy changed the locks due to a missing hidden
key..
Later I cooked some yams in the casserole Crock*pot
and had some with the smoked pork Cliff made. Good! TV was a cute Hallmark
movie.
All I know. Happy Monday. Nuff said. Ciao.

No Dirty Dishes Day
No
Dirty Dishes Day is a reprieve from the daily pile of dishes to wash and dry.
Day after day, we do the daily chore of washing and drying dishes, then put them
away in various cabinets and drawers. We perform this task after each and every
meal, and often after snacks. Even putting them in and out of the dishwasher and
running it, can be a chore.
You
deserve a break from this routine. And, today is that day. The objective of this
day is to have no dirty dishes. It is not intended to pile them up until
tomorrow.
We
can think of two ways to avoid dirty dishes today:
- Use disposable plates, cups and silverware for all meals and snacks.
- Take the family out to eat all three meals. Then for snack, go out for ice cream!
We
strongly recommend that you do not pile up the dishes to do tomorrow. This
defeats the purpose of this very special
day.
