Throw Back Thursday.. 1952
My uncle and aunt, Lloyd and Norie Mills, lived in Santa Rosa.
The property had two homes and my aunt and uncle rented one of the homes. In the main house lived Johnny and his family. We had crushes on each other.
He had a big collie named Lassie who was sooooo sweet.
The family owned a plum orchard. Johnny and I would climb the plum trees. Sit
up in them and eat the plums! Fun memories.
My "Greece traveling friend" Pat Kelly sent this... OMG. Half time show at
Eagles game.. the BEST EVER! If you love dogs... you gotta watch!
Yesterday talk about a commotion outside... There were 16 geese on the barn
roof and two on the ground...
Then the turkey flock was in the front yard.... about 20 of them...
NOISY!!! The turkeys were gobbling and gobbling and the geese were honking
and honking!
Geese:
Turkey gobble:
This one goose wouldn't land on the barn, and he kept flying over me. I
guess he was keeping an eye on me!
