Good 46º cloudy morning. Rain on and off all day yesterday. We
are up another 1/2". Nothing much predicted for a few days. Southern Ca and
Northern Ca is where it's going to be bad.
I have friends living in the Glendora area and they are under
mandatory evacuations. Pray for their safety and that of their
homes.
I received this from my friend Kio (ret Simi Valley PD). I have heard Paul Harvey
do his speech on The Policeman, but this one has some GREAT photos with it! If you were in law enforcement you have probably heard this too, but take a look. I love the pictures!
Today is a birthday of a special guy... Shelly Broadman...
husband of our Jackson County Republican Women's President Ruth. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHELLY!!!!! The crazy turkeys are all out here gobbling "happy birthday" to you!!
Historically this date
...... Ok, let me explain....
yesterday's blog contained things that happened today in history, not yesterday.
Also the births listed were for 12-12. So, to make up for that faux pas today I
will list historical happenings for yesterday 12-11 and births for yesterday
12-11. Groan....
1941 – World War II: Germany and Italy declare war on the United States, following the Americans' declaration
of war on Japan in the wake of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The United States, in turn, declares
war on Germany and Italy.

include............. (remember it's for 12-11)

Yesterday a trip into Grants Pass to get my hair cut. Then to
WalMart to get some toys to put in Brian's Toys 4 Tots box at his office.
(Please contribute. His State Farm office is on Allen Creek Rd... next to
Albertsons and The Vine) Then home. Pouring rain most of the day. Stupid stupid
people on the roadways. No clue how to drive in the rain!
I did buy myself a new puppy while I was shopping...
He's sitting on the chair next to mine... keeping an eye on me and making
me smile!
Dinner was reruns. Actually I had a late lunch (dinner
reruns) when I got home so dinner wasn't interesting... so I popped some corn,
drizzled on the butter, and sprinkled on bacon salt! Dude was alert to those
smells. I gave him a little. He was thrilled! Watched more Hallmark Christmas
movies and Chicago PD.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

Thanks for that Paul Harvey's "The Policeman" video. I posted it on my FB page. Love it!
The storm has hit here during the night. Love the rain!
XO Trisha
Rain is good, as long as you don't get too much at once and slide down the hill!!!! Glad you liked the video. xo
I got up in the night because I heard the wind and rain blowing hard. We sleep with a window open. As soon as I got within two feet of the window I got rain in the face! I quickly wiped the window sill and the dresser then put a towel on the floor! Yikes!
XO Trisha
We had quite a bit of wind here too and all my windows got wet!
....and I came expecting to see a real puppy!
Sorry Art... one dog (110 pounds) at a time is enough for me!!! xo
