Good 47º rainy morning. Been raining hard for a couple of
hours. So far from last night we got another 3/4" of that wet stuff.
YEAH!!
After thinking about a wrap with the smoked salmon spread and
the shrimp I had to have one for breakfast...
OMGOOOOOD!!!!! Next will be adding the shrimp to some Alfredo sauce and
pasta. Drooling....................................
This was posted on FB on my friend Bob Klamm's page. This man
is awesome. Let's run him for PRESIDENT!!!
Hard to believe JFK was assassinated on this date 51 years
ago. Seems like yesterday. I remember my fiance, George Pendleton, and I taking
a drive to Bob's Big Boy in Pasadena. He had a nice new car with a 33 1/3 car
record player.
(before there were 8 Track players or
cassette players or CDs!). There was nothing on the radio, no music, but news of
the assassination. We put the Beach Boys record on..
and cruised through Bob's. Every single person in
every car there was trying to find the radio station with music!

and her hubby Bob Klamm at Musashi for lunch...........I had cold saké and the
others had hot saké......
A couple sat down at the table next to us... turned out they
are friends of Micol and Bob... motorcycle riding buddies... Alma and Don
Kemp.....
After we got home Bob sent this picture of Don on the sidecar! Sidecar??
LOL. Guess the date... Hmmm... 1955? 1960?
Bob and I both had the 'Rolling Thunder' roll....deep fried
fish tempura, cheddar cheese, jalapeno, white tuna wasabe mayo, tobiko (flying
fish roe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobiko),
sesame. "Hot and Spicy" ! OMGOOD!
Jennifer had one of her "stand by" sushi rolls... Micol had miso soup and salad (and something else I forget!)
Micol got a dish of green tea ice cream and a candle..... lit
by Mijo, our favorite waitress.
Her birthday is not until the 29th, but that is a busy
Thanksgiving relatives coming/going weekend!
On the way home stopped for some cracked corn at Ace and a football
discussion with Big Dan (Bears fan) and Uncle Jimmy (Lambs fan).
And........ I have to tell you that those wool blend socks
(82% Merino wool, 14% polyester, 2% nylon, 2% spandex) I got at Costco are
AWESOME and soooooooooooo comfortable. I am going back to get
more!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.
