Good 45º cloudy morning. No rain yesterday but a few

Yesterday at 3pm...
Jeannie told me she made the 'Tangy Apple Chicken Loaf' that I had posted
on my blog:
She said they really liked it and will make it again. Me too! Sooooo good
with that cheese/applesauce (I used pear sauce)/Dijon mustard/honey topping!
Drooling now thinking about it!
It's TGIF. Hope your's is good.
Today is friend, Wayne Low's (SEB Motors) wife Shirley's
birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHIRLEY!!!
Thursday night football:
Booooooooooooooo!
Kristen and Olga's Jets are supposed to play the Bills on Monday night, but
that won't happen. The stadium is under tons of snow!
Historically this date....
1877 – Thomas Edison announces his invention of the phonograph, a machine that can record and play
sound.
1980 – A deadly fire breaks out at the MGM Grand Hotel in Paradise, Nevada (now Bally's Las Vegas). 87 people are killed and more than
650 are injured in the worst disaster in Nevada history.
And births this date
include....
..... here is the hat Steve McQueen
wore in the movie Tom Horn... with his signature inside.... Jerry added the band
and I added the feather! The 'sweat' is painted on.
1934 – Laurence Luckinbill, American actor
.....omg, he's been married to Luci
Arnaz since 1980!
1937 – Marlo Thomas, American actress
1945 – Goldie Hawn, American actress
1966 – Troy Aikman, American football
player
And on the political side...
The President (or as he likes to be called.. Emperor) OVomit cares more
about illegals in this country than our veterans! What I am wishing I can't say
out loud!
PICTURE OF THE DAY..
New York City at sunrise... (before this last storm!)
Yesterday a trip to Medford for a follow-up with my doc.
Gloomy sprinkley ride to and from...
Then to Costco for things I forgot at Costco last trip, paper
towels and TP. I bought a couple extras also... Wild Smoked Salmon Dip
and Spread. Had some when I got home. OMGOOOOOD!!! I can see
spreading this on a spinach wrap and topping it with chopped celery, lettuce,
etc.... It was good with the pita chips though!
Artichoke Jalapeño Dip,
some cilantro lime shrimp,
and some pumpkin rolls... Had a slice of this too and OMGOOOOOD also! OINK
OINK.
I was looking at the pumpkin rolls and a lady came by and said, "Those are
the BEST ever! We gobbled almost all of them down immediately! And they freeze
well." Convinced, I bought some. While looking at the wool ladies socks, another
woman came up to me and said they were the BEST socks she ever had! Wool, warm,
and fit perfectly. Again, convinced, I bought some...
They will work super with my new Klogs http://www.kiboos.com/products/klogs-usa-austin-1?variant=988765256
They are sooooo comfortable with arch supports included (that also come out
and I can put in my orthotics) I could just wear these all day every day.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

Amazing that you posted that pic of New York City at sunrise. This morning Kevin, Deb and baby girl flew into NYC at sunrise! They are there for a week celebrating their 5th anniversary which is today. Kev called when he saw that I was posting. Said the ride from the airport in the taxi was an hour long to Deb's aunt's high rise apt. (10th floor) Said the drivers there are CRAZY!! Worse than LA.
Marlo Thomas in That Girl was one of my fav shows. Couldn't believe it when she married that crazy gray headed lib! Also can't believe she's older than I am. She looks wonderful still.
Your yummies you bought at Costco look scrumptious! It's great to have someone let you know that they love a product before you buy it.
XOXO Trisha
The angels "washed" our cars last night. I look forward to reading about this chapter in history 20 years down the road.
I know Deb Kev and Isabella will have fun in NY! I had such a ball when I was there. I want to go back. Maybe their driving isn't the best (but Californian's are horrible too) but they are so friendly and nice. Great city to see lots and lots of interesting places. I hope they get the "tour"! xo
Yeah, L, rain!!!!!!! xo
Consider yourself lucky Sue, at least Emperor Obama isn't flying into Medford screwing up the whole town. We here in "don't go to Las Vegas and blow a lot of money" have to put up with the Emperor for the next three days grounding helicopter tour companies that transport tourist and wedding trips to the Grand Canyon and night flights over the Strip. This while he bloviates about his most recent overreach of power on illegal alien amnesty! I'm with you by not prudently saying out loud what I wish for the half white guy. Can't remember the last time I felt so much contempt for a President of the United States.
Arthur, you have my deepest sympathy. OVomit certainly screws everything up nomatter where he goes! Yes, you are right about feeling the contempt...me too!!! xo
