Good 42º cloudy morning. The predictions were for more rain
and then rain on Thursday. All that has changed now... sheesh....
Today's Sunday Football....
Due to the heavy snow on the stadium field in NY, the Jets and
the Bills will be playing tomorrow night.
Today is a dear sweet friend's birthday, Gracie Elliott,
married to Jack, both former LASD. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACIE!!! Love you girl. I
hope your day is SPECIAL!
Historically this date...
1889 – The first jukebox goes into operation at the Palais Royale
Saloon in San Francisco.
I still have some old Life magazines.
My friend and I used to make airplanes out of the covers and attach wooden
matches to the wings and toss them off the roof at my Grandma's and watch them
crash on the cement and burn! LOL.
1981 – Iran-Contra Affair: Ronald Reagan signs the top secret National Security
Decision Directive 17 (NSDD-17), giving the Central Intelligence
Agency the authority to recruit and support Contra rebels in Nicaragua.
And births this date
include....
1887 – Boris Karloff, British actor (d. 1969)
1888 – Harpo Marx, American comedian (d.
1964)
1959 – Maxwell Caulfield, British actor
... another of those long lasting
Hollyweird marriages.. Juliet Mills since 1980 (although she had 2
previous)
1959 – Dominique Dunne, American actress (d.
1982)
... very sad about her death at 22 and
the man who murdered her got away with only 4 years in prison!
He has changed his name and is a 'chef'
up here in the Pacific Northwest! Yikes!
1992 – Miley Cyrus, American actress and
singer

Jan has amazing work.. I think I will have her make one of her
dog heads of Dude! And, maybe she will make one of Bruiser!
Super good food....
A variety of foods, coffees, wines, etc...
The Creamery has awesome cheeses, pastas, and wines...
Jeannie got some jalapeño cheese curds. They are sooooo good! I like their
Italian pastas...Especially the Anellini... from Italy, and one of the first
pastas children there are fed. Great with sauces and also in soups.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Sunday. Ciao.
