Good 47º sunny clear morning.
Yesterday was a change from Wednesday, temp wise. At least 10º hotter, we hit 84º, and who knows what today will bring.
I drove into Central Point for our JCRW luncheon/meeting. Our speaker was David Churchman, a professor emeritus California
State University where he chaired graduate programs
in behavioral sciences teaching conflict theory and negotiation and also taught Arab, Byzantine, and ancient Near Eastern history in the
humanities graduate program. He continues to teach on line in this program as well as on line for the History Department at SOU.

After lunch we had a meeting for the Reagan BBQ committees. Got home after 3pm. Left at 5, heading to the Applegate and to the Applegate Valley Ranch for Jen's birthday celebration and the Thursday night barbecue.....
Nice drive out there. 25 miles from me. Lost of cattle ranching out there... Beautiful countryside...BBQ was chicken and ribs, beans, salad, bread, drinks, and dessert. They had a beer/wine bar also. The kids ran around on the grass and had fun. A young man had an Akita puppy there... soooo cute! The entertainment was Jon & Sher. We sat there until 8:30! Very enjoyable. Thank you Jean, for treating all of us!!! ♥
The sunset was pretty on the drive home.... and then I got a glimpse of the full moon. OMG
Picture doesn't do it justice. It was HUGE and yellow! Beautiful.

Sue,
You photos are great as always. Don't know how you manage to get such good ones while driving! Sammy looks adorable in that colorful dress and the kidlets looked like they were have a great time. That food looked mouth watering! Certainly dosen't go with a diet, huh? Lots to eat on one plate but I would have given it my best shot! :)
Patrick Wayne went to Loyola High School with John but Pat was a couple of years ahead of John. How time flies, huh? He looks like he has melted.
Hugs, Trisha
Hi T, thanks. Had to laugh about the picture taking while driving, apparently it's against the law in Collifornia... has to do with cell phones my daughter said. My dil, Jen, said that since I made a sign "Hang Up And Drive" she's going to make one for her aged mother-in-law that reads "Put Down The Camera And Drive" !!! Concerned for my abilities to point the camera and pay attention to my driving at the same time!!! LOL
Poor Patrick Wayne. Such a yummy young man, yes, he's 'melted'. Fuey.
Sue,
I must change my reading schedule for you Blog! After a restful night's sleep, one of the first things I do in the AM is check my email and read your Blog. After I finish reading all of your activities for that day I have to sit in my Lazy Boy and have a nap. I'm exhausted! I am going to begin reading it in the evening before going to bed! Love ya! Ike
LOL, Ike you are tooooo funny!!! Enjoy your nap!!! xoxoxoxox
