YUMNMMMMY Good Oven Roasted Corn on the Cob
8 ears corn, cleaned
1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, room temperature
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
and if you like a little more "heat" add a dash of cayenne pepper
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Place corn on baking sheet. Reserve about 1/2 of the butter. Spread remaining butter on the whole ear of corn. Sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper (I use about 1 teaspoon of each).
- Bake for 30-45 minutes, until starting to brown. Turn corn occasionally. Remove from oven and spread remaining butter over the top of the corn. Sprinkle with more pepper as desired.
- Serve and enjoy!

It's been frustrating for my Brian and Kristen of late.
A couple weeks ago Brian got rear-ended on his way home from work. Significent damage and his truck has been in the shop for a week or more. Then, Monday on Kristen's way home from work, she got rear-ended! Not as much damage as on Brian's truck, but damage none the less. Be careful out there!!!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.

May 16 of each year honors National Love a Tree Day. On this day, trees are celebrated and recognized for the wonderful gift that they are to us. National Love a Tree Day is in the middle of Garden for Wildlife Month.
Most species of trees tend to be long-lived. There are some trees live to be several thousand years old.
The tallest known tree is 379 ft. tall.
Trees provide more than just beautiful landscapes and a shady canopy on a sunny day. They play a significant role in reducing erosion and moderating the climate as well as give us oxygen. Large quantities of carbon are stored in their tissues as trees remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
HOW TO OBSERVE
Trees are a vital part of nature. This is a good day to plant a new tree or spend some time enjoying the beauty of the trees that are all around you.
