Good 34º super foggy morning. Yesterday the sun came out! and we topped at 59º !
I was checking out some stuff on Amazon and saw this shirt and had to order it ....
Like my cat purse, it will generate conversations everywhere!
LOL.
I had watched NCIS and David McCallum's character, Ducky
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves
a memory no one can steal." This is so true!
Yesterday I made a Lemon Blueberry Dump Cake that friend Gloria Whitley had
put on her blog...
1 pkg lemon cake mix
1 pkg (4 serving size) lemon instant pudding mix
4 eggs
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1 cup fresh blueberries, divided
1. Preheat oven to 350º
2. Spray 13x9 baking pan with cooking spray
3. Combine cake mix, pudding, milk, eggs, water, and oil in large
bowl.
4. Beat 1-2 minutes until well blended
5. Gently fold in 1/2 cup blueberries
6. Spread batter into pan and sprinkle with remaining 1/2
cup blueberries.
7. Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out
clean
8. Cool completely on wire rack
**Ok, so here is how I changed the recipe...I used a bundt pan and cooked
it 45 minutes. The above recipe said to put half the blueberries on top of the cake, but with a bundt pan if you do that they will end up on the bottom..... so I put half the blueberries in the bottom of the pan and put the batter on the top of them. Taaaa Daaaa.... when you turn it over onto the plate the berries are on the top!

The son of comparative literature professor August
Coppola (a brother of director Francis Ford
Coppola) and dancer/choreographer Joy Vogelsang, Cage
changed his name early in his career to make his own reputation, succeeding
brilliantly with a host of classic, quirky roles by the late 1980s. Initially

National Tempura
Day
OH
YUMMMMMMMMM.....
Tempura is made by battering
and
deep-frying fish and vegetables. While
not
a part of classic sushi, modern sushi
chefs
have created tempura sushi by rolling
a
piece of tempura with rice and seaweed,
Chicken,
shrimp, squid and sweet potato
are
some of the types of tempura rolls that
can
be
found.
