Good 57º very gloomy smokey cloudy morning. The overcast and
the smoke are keeping it so dark. We are predicted to reach 100º today, but if
this overcast stays, we won't. We topped at 95º yesterday.
The smoke stayed heavy... the turkeys were up standing under a tree, that
didn't give them any shade because the sun couldn't come through the
smoke!
The full moon will be visible on the west coast:
LOS ANGELES = Wednesday * 6th September 2017 * 12:02:49 am (PDT) and east
coast:
NEW YORK = Wednesday * 6th September 2017 * 03:02:49 am (EDT)
Yesterday I was going to go to a friend's house for a little
birthday celebration, but I just couldn't go out. This smoke is killing me.....
So, stayed in, AC on, and put my feet up! Movies on TV!
This was on the news:
This is why the ERs are filled up and I am staying
inside!!
Today is also the first day of school up here. The children with breathing problems can stay indoors and don't have to go out for recess etc. And parents that have children they don't want to go out to school can contact the schools and get home assignments.
This shared by Gar Austin (LASD ret.) and his remark that made me laugh..
"Ah, yeah" !

Dinner was one of my "throw it all in the pan" meals... First I sauteéd some celery, added in broccoli and carrots and Lawry's Garlic Salt...
Then shredded a couple cooked boneless skinless chicken thighs... and added
in several scoops of Ricotta cheese....
Then I cooked some rotini pasta and added that... along with about a cup of
the salted garlic cooking water..
Stirred it all up and kept it warm until I was ready to eat.
OMGOOOOOOD!!!!!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao.

Cheese Pizza Day
Cheese Pizza Day is a day
to chow down with one of America's favorite meals.
Pizza is a favorite of young
and old. Originating from Italian cuisine, it's a staple in the American diet.
For many American families "Pizza night" is a Friday or Saturday routine. It's
also popular at parties.
You can have Cheese Pizza anyway you want. There's thin or thick crust.
Extra cheese is the "norm" for many cheese pizza lovers.
To celebrate Cheese Pizza
Day, just order a cheese pizza. Or, make a homemade cheese pizza.
If you decide you just have to add other toppings, its okay. We won't
tell.
Have a happy Cheese Pizza
Day!
Check with your local pizza store for specials on cheese pizza today!
