Here are a couple fun short videos of an unusual relationship between a
couple geese and a couple men.... one thing about geese, they mate for life, so
friendships are for life.
This first one is a guy and a goose in Lake Oswego Oregon..
And this second one began in Echo Park Los Angeles...
Here is a recipe I made and posted a few years back....
Pineapple Salsa for Fish or Chicken
REALLY good!!!
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 red onion diced fine
2 jalapeño peppers, seeds & membranes removed, and diced
(if you like it hotter, use more jalapeños)
Leaves pulled off cilantro stems
1 t. sea salt
1 lime juiced
1 lemon juiced
Mix all well. Then top a piece of grilled or fried or
baked fish or cooked chicken breasts or thighs.
Dinner was Schwans Chicken Fingers (frozen and cooked in microwave) and
some of their Fire Roasted Vegetable Blend (frozen and tossed with olive oil and
cooked in Air Fryer at 375º 12 minutes)
While I was in the kitchen, the Bruiser was out laying in the cool
grass....
Earlier he was napping on the new "toys" I got him....
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.

Here are today’s five thing to know about Fries:
Leaving the potato skin on French fries actually leaves in
important vitamins that are lost if the skins are peeled away.
In England these are referred to as “chips”
French fries are, perhaps, poorly-named, since they
originate in Belgium and are most popular in
America.
Though French fries were invented in Europe, the potatoes,
from which they are made, originated in the Americas and were
imported.
The first occurrence of French fries in America may have
been at a diplomatic dinner hosted by Thomas
Jefferson.
