Good 55º clear sunny morning.
Yesterday we topped out at 93º. Exactly 2 years ago today we had quite a
rain storm, 3/4" of that wet stuff! And a year ago today we had quite a cool and
windy day.
I posted this on my Facebook page, but for those of you not on FB I thought
I'd share this super easy, yummmmmy, dish....
Lasagna Rollups:
All the news networks are putting out so much fake news and so many left leaning political stuff that I just want to see the "NEWS". Sigh. Anyway, I came up with some new meaning to their acronyms....
ABC - Allegorists Bullshitting Con
CBS - Charlatan Broadcasting Station
CNN - Clinton News Network
NBC - National Bullshit Crap
So, sitting here at my desk and Bruiser decides he wants to drink some of
my glass of water! Good thing he doesn't like wine!
Ok, so another spot that is interesting is Hoover Dam, previously named
Boulder Dam from 1933 to 1947.
Hoover Dam, Nevads is almost too well known for it's own good.
That doesn't diminish what an extraordinary engineering feat that it is. Tours
take visitors 530 feet down through the canyon wall to a viewing point where
90,000 gallons of water whoosh past every second. This major tourist attraction
has nearly 1 million people tour a year.
It's generators provide power for public and private utilities
in Nevada, Arizona, and California.
So, yesterday I met up with Brian, Jen, Tucker, Sami, and Jack at
Kaleidoscope Pizza in Medford for dinner.
They all had pizzas and I had the Wedge Salad...
Iceberg lettuce, blue cheese dressing, chunks of blue cheese, bacon, and
tomato. YUMMMMMM!!!!
