Good 43º clear sunny morning.
Today is Flag Day.
My flags... always flying:
Today is also President Trump's Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR.
PRESIDENT!!
And, today is the anniversary of my marriage to Jerry, 42
years ago. How I wish he was here to celebrate with me! So missed!
Steve
Voors was Jerry's best man and Sandy (Todoran-Kraut) Beck was my matron of
honor. Kristen was the flower girl and Brian the ring-bearer. A lot of Jerry's
friends couldn't get the time off, but showed up (on duty) and there was a line
of radio cars out in front of the church!
Our reception was at home. We
had quite a party! Mom and my sisters put together quite a lot of food. We headed to San Francisco for our honeymoon the next day.
Happy Anniversary Darling!
My mom, sister Betty, me, and sister Marion:
Later yesterday Dude and I took a quick drive into town to the post office to pick
up a package, originally sent via UPS but then dropped at the post office (as
per a contract UPS has with the USPS) so I could drive to pick it up!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......... I sent UPS a letter, but of course
they NEVER responded!

The tree swallows have nested in a birdhouse on my front porch.
Their babies have hatched and for a couple weeks they have been so busy
flying back and forth feeding the little ones...
That is a piece of string hanging out of the birdhouse. I cut string and
hang it in the tree and they use it in their nests.
Yesterday early evening they all flew from the nest and made circles around and around and in and out through the front porch.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Flag Day! Ciao.
