From yesterday morning to this morning we got 1/2" of rain.
Breakfast.... one boneless skinless cooked chicken thigh (from
the batch cooked for Dude in the crockpot with organic chicken stock on low for
8 hours), cottage cheese, hard cooked egg, and tomatoes. I like the Best Foods
Organic Spicy mayo on the chicken..
Yesterday the overcast kept it quite cool, in the low
50ºs (heaters on!) and the rain just kept coming down. I got my new computer
ordered, the one on Turke's recommendation, and some "stuff" ordered from
Amazon. Also set up an appointment to get my truck serviced this week. Quiet
day.
Last night's NFL game ... boo :o(

Later dinner was chicken doodle soup. Again. So good! Then chair, wine, and TV. When I sit down in my chair and take off my slippers.... then Bruiser likes to lay on them with one paw in each slipper!
In the afternoon I looked out the kitchen window and saw this guy way down
in front ...
So I kept and eye on him, going room to room as he wandered up the drive
towards the back...
Then in the backyard there was a doe and her fawn... and they looked at
this guy like, "Who are you?????"
I had to be super sneaky taking the pictures so I wouldn't scare any of
them. Finally they wandered off in different directions. Whew... no
spraying!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao.

Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day is today.
What's that in the back of the refrigerator!? I don't want to find out.
Don't open it...... the odor may overwhelm you!!! Hold your breath, scrunch your
nose if you must, and get to the task.
Everything in your refrigerator was once a fresh, healthy food, ready for
your consumption. It may have been a tasty leftover, intended for later
enjoyment. Unfortunately, over the course of weeks or more, things get pushed to
the back of the refrigerator and slowly transform into something impossible to
identify.
We've all run across items in the refrigerator that once were tasty food,
But, now, they are some dried out, mold covered nasty, that you remove and
dispose of at arms length.
Who wins the prize for the worst refrigerator surprises? Most often, it's
workplace refrigerators.
Use this day to clean out your refrigerator, top to bottom. When it comes
to food safety, we fall back to the old saying " When in doubt, throw it
out!"

Oh my what great photos of the skunk and deer. I was holding my breath that the deer wouldn't get sprayed. I can imagine you would have had to put up with the smell for a good long time if he had.
Good thing Bruiser or Dude weren't out there!
Adorable photo of kitty in the frig! :)
HAPPY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BRIAN AND JEN!!!
XO Trisha
A "skunk smell" around here wouldn't be the first time! They come and go.Mostly at night, thankfully. Yes, being a rainy day, Dude and Bruiser were napping on the porch! xo Thanks T!
