Good 43º foggy drizzly morning. Got about 1/10th inch of rain
yesterday. More on the way.
LOL!!!
Yesterday the weather got sunny, then cloudy, then sunny......
you know. It was sunny and/or rainy all day long. Pretty in the
afternoon:
Roe Motors called and said all the parts needed to fix my
SUV had not been ordered so it will be another day or two.
For dinner I took the leftover quinoa and veggies, added some crab I found in the freezer, and mixed in parmesan cheese.....
And in the Air Fryer I cooked an Omaha Steaks sole stuffed
with scallops and crab and 4 mini crab cakes.
Today is a special wedding anniversary... Steve (LASD ret and Jerry's former radio car partner) and his bride Barbara Voors are celebrating 41 years of wedded bliss! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY kids!

Hard to believe JFK was assassinated on
this date 53 years ago. Seems like yesterday. I remember my fiance, George
Pendleton, and I taking a drive to Bob's Big Boy in Pasadena. He had a nice new
car with a 33 1/3 car record player.
(before there were 8 Track players or
cassette players or CDs!). There was nothing on the radio, no music, but news of
the assassination. We put the Beach Boys record on..
and cruised through Bob's. Every single person in every car there was trying to find the radio
station with music!

Go For A Ride Day
As the holidays approach, life becomes chaotic, and perhaps a bit
stressful. Take a breather, and go for a relaxing ride. You don't need a
destination to enjoy this day. But, you certainly can bring family or friends
along for company.
The means of transportation can be anything. Sure, a car, bus, or
motorcycle ride may immediately come to mind. Here are some other ways of
riding, that may prove more fun than the family vehicle:
Take a sleigh ride.
Ride a horse.
Ride a horse-drawn carriage.
Snowmobile rides are always "cool".
A bicycle is a great, way to ride and exercise.
A boat ride, if your are a warmer climate.
Doesn't a plane ride to a sunny vacation spot sound like fun!?
You can't ride in my little red wagon. Okay, you can ride in it.
Whatever your means of transportation, have a happy Go For a Ride Day.

LOL I laughed out loud when I read your Christmas shirt. FUNNY!!
I remember that infamous day when JFK was shot. All weekend long they played music on the radio. The whole country was in mourning. Very sad day no matter your politics. In fact they say he would be a Republican if he were alive today. (John and I had been married for nine months)
Oh I loved the looks of your dinner. Yum yum! I really should get back to cooking after this remodel but I don wanna! :(
XOXO Trisha
GOOD morning. May I be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas! NORAD chasing the sleigh is taxpayer money well-spent.
It was a no-school day when Kennedy was shot. I was watching a comedy at Joanne Turovsky's house when the news came in. I immediately got on my blue bicycle, and became the town-crier of the street.
Glad you like my shirt, T, can't wait to wear it! You will get back to cooking in that beautiful kitchen!!! xo
