Good 42º super foggy again morning.
Yesterday I went out back and found my pear tree had been
hacked! Apparently there is a bear in the area who likes pears! He broke several
of the branches and those on the ground were cleaned of any pears!
Meanwhile, the turkeys were hanging out..
These are the mommas and their babies born this past spring.

Ewwwww.......
Later made a run into town for errands.
Dinner was some Air Fryer yam fries and a breaded veal cutlet. I peeled the
yam and cut into small pieces, sloshed it with olive oil and garlic salt and
cooked at 350º for about 17 minutes, tossing them half way through.
They came out crunchy on the outside and soft and yum on the inside.
I also cooked the veal cutlet with a little olive oil and bacon
salt...

My goodness! Are you sure there wasn't a fire on the other side of your mountain? Beautiful! I'll bet the TV station would show one of those pics.
I had to chuckle at all your turkeys. Could be they know Thanksgiving is approaching and they know it's safe at the Maxwell spread! :)
Oh go on.....get started on Obama! :)
XO Trisha
LOL, T... no fire. Sent to TV station but I would imagine they will get bunches of photos from this area. In the beginning when I was first sending photos, they didn't have that many, now they get tons of them. I'm sure the turkeys feel safe here. They even talk to me!!! xoxo
Your sunsets are breathtaking! Ours fire-up closer to the Rose Bowl.
Being surrounded closely by the mountains makes a difference. In Temple City we'd see the sunsets over Mt. Wilson. ox
