Good 43º clear sunny morning. Yesterday we hit
95º.
Pal Ike Saben shared this with me. It's from the 1959 movie
Rio Bravo. Loved loved John Wayne, Dean Martin, and the love of my teenage years
Ricky Nelson!
Yesterday I decided to finally mend a couple items. One was
Dude's pig he had chewed the foot and stuffing was coming out. The other was my
LASD pig that I think Dude got a hold off also and his stuffing was coming out.
Thirdly was my head pillow for my chair. It had also sprung a leak!
I have not done any sewing in AGES. I think the last time
was when we first moved here, so it's been about 18 years! That above was my
Mom's sewing box. It has thread, needles, measuring tape, and scissors. It must be from the 1920's! Couldn't
find my thimble, so braved it without. Here's the mended
stuff:
.... and then I found my Christmas dog who also needed
repair. Thanks Dude!!!

Later I watched Dr. Oz with Donald Trump as his guest.
Interesting. Trump is in better health than most of us!!
His daughter was on
the show too, Ivanka. She is a beauty and very smart, but boy can that girl
talk!!!
Then it was reruns for dinner. I had in the freezer the
mixture of Gnocchi shells, olives, tomatoes, peas, artichoke bottoms, white
beans, diced chilies , chicken teriyaki, and a creamy cheese sauce. Heated that,
easy peesey!
Then it was chair, wine, and TV time. Bruiser got up on my
chair with me and went sound to sleep!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

Back from Lincoln Club luncheon. Nice people and good food. The political trend kept my appetite down, but that just proves good can come from bad.
Well doggone, I didn't know it was national guacamole day or I would weigh 3 more pounds in the morning):-
I don't know prize fight weight limits, but Trump is definitely in the heavy-weight category. Wonder if Hillary is, too.
Looking forward to your blog tomorrow.
