Good 48º clear sunny morning. Hit 93º yesterday.
Happy Independence Day!
Our town is very patriotic, thanks to the guys and gals at the local VFW
who put up the flags. Jerry used to help do this also!
Here is Jerry on the right and our pal Dave on the left.... this was
2006
I received this from Ron Wisberger (LASD ret).. Our flag
stands for freedom, "and they can't take that away." (much as they have been
trying of late!) This is a great tribute... the song always tugs hard on my
emotions!
This is in Bowling Green Kentucky

Yesterday dinner was reruns.
Watched Hallmark movie.. Love By Chance. Cute.
Young woman, pastry chef, with a business and an overbearing interfering
mother who even posts her daughter's picture on a dating site and would check
out the men interested.
Then I tried watching another Hallmark movie Love On The
Sidelines. http://www.hallmarkchannel.com/love-on-the-sidelines
After 10 minutes I deleted it!
Tonight is chair, wine, The Capitol 4th and The Boston Pops
4th of July Show. I have east coast stations so I can watch them early!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy 4th. Ciao.

July 4th
Today is special but it's also...
Sidewalk Egg Frying Day!
Hmmm.... Do you wonder why we have such a day?
It's July, the middle of summer. It's hotter than blazes. It's steamy,
unbearable heat. Everything you touch is hot, sizzling hot. Why, its so hot that
you could fry an egg on the sidewalk.
As we thought about this day, we realized many of you will now rush out
under the hot noonday sun to fry some eggs on your sidewalk. Once you do so, who
will eat it!?
Have a great 4th and Sidewalk Egg Frying
Day!
