Rain ~ Clouds ~ Egg Experiment ~ Only 100 People ~ Erika & Spencer ~ Joyce Kruger ~ Wade Duncan ~ Ponder ~ Apple Strudel

Good 50º dark gloomy rainy morning. More rain yesterday afternoon and last night. Just sprinkling though, so about another 1/10".

The clouds again yesterday were beautiful...

I did some more exciting things... vacuuming, laundry... etc.

Breakfast was an experiment. Pal Pat Reardon said he and Alice like cooking their eggs in just a porcelain dish with a saucer on top instead of the Egg-Tastic. So I put two eggs in a bowl, bacon salt, pricked lightly each yolk, and set in the bowl a stuffed baked potato (Omaha Steaks) I had cooked the night before, put the saucer on top, microwaved 1 min 40 seconds.
Took a few seconds longer (normally about 1 minute would be enough) as it also had the potato also...

I served the eggs atop baby spinach and a side of small beets.    GOOD!!!!!

Here is a little video of some interesting stats.. if the US was only 100 people.... how everything is divided...

More things to ponder from Gator..
Why is it that people say they 'slept like a baby' when babies wake up like every two hours?

Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV?

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Why do doctors leave the room while you change?
They're going to see you naked anyway...

Later I was not hungry so dinner was just peanut butter on a muffin.

All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

Good morning. Tip: Solid tempered glass lids can also be used in the microwave- easier to remove after cooking.

Think it will be too hot to bake apple strudel here- but the bakery might have. Ice cream churned courtesy of electric machine sounds like my kind of cooking today):-

Well, L, the upside down saucer is pretty easy to remove! Yes, too hot down there to coo, but cold and wet up here, so if I was in the mood, I'd bake something! xo

I have never tried anything but a scrambled egg in the microwave. I just put a whipped up egg in a little glass dish and cook for about 30 seconds stirring half way thru. So easy even Matthew does it by himself.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR NEWT! I went to his FB page and wished him birthday wishes.

So true about a sleeping baby! Just ask Kevin and Debbie! :(

XO Trisha
