Good 48ºcloudy drizzling morning. RAIN!, but not a lot. Started just after
6am and rained for 30 or so minutes. Now just a drizzle. COME ON MORE
RAIN!!!!!
Unfortunately, not going far!
What a cool and wonderful day it was yesterday. By 3pm it was only 67º. I
had the doors and windows open and enjoyed the cool breezes. By TV time I turned
on the heater!! OMG. But, it was so comfy.
Breakfast.... muffin tamales heated up, some enchilada sauce with drizzled
sriracha mayo on top and heated...Oh so good!!!
OMG, So. Cal got a ton of rain! This is a video my daughter posted on FB...
it's HILARIOUS! "Rain In LA"
Here is the newscast re the storm Monday night through Tuesday...
A number of deaths in Utah from the storm also. Too sad. 2 families washed away in their vehicles.
Yesterday I got an email from Tabasco re their sale and a free 5oz bottle
of their Smoked Tabasco Chipotle Sauce if you spend $35 or more. I have to say
they have the BEST Spicy Worchestershire Sauce and the BEST Spicy Soy Sauce!
Check out their deals and products...
OMG and their Green Pepper Sauce and Garlic Pepper Sauce! and Buffalo
Sauce!!! Awesome.
And, no, I don't work for Tabasco, just love their products!

I got a call from the Harpers yesterday. They had tried their Egg-Tastic
...
and LOVED it! They are even buying more for gifts! See, I told you.
Yesterday with my sink stopped up since the night before I waited for Mike
of Artoff Plumbing to come over and "un stop" it. This old house and it's
plumbing suck!
(Mike and his dad Marty... he was a friend of Jerrys!)
They are local here in Rogue River, but cover Grants Pass and Medford...
And Mike recently with his boys fishing....
Anyway, Mike was here and fixed the plumbing problem, fitting me in on his
way to his last job. Thanks Mike!!!!
Dude was at the door and wanted in.. I let him in and noticed this doe
eating grape leaves. Was surprised she came into the yard with Dude out there.
She looked my way and then continued eating...
Speaking of animals, this video is hilarious. I posted it about 3 years ago
on my blog...
I got this
video from David Aguilar (Wilson W'59) who has since passed away ... Watch not
only the screaming sheep but all the other animals ... I'm not fond of Conan
O'Brian but this is great!
VFW with the right idea!!!
Then, for dinner I decided on soup, since it was so nice and cool.... by
noon still only 59º!
Soup:
Crock*Pot, 2 cans cream of chicken soup, 1 can cream of potato soup, about
5 cups shredded chicken, 1 cup of sour cream, 2 cups chicken stock, and 1/2 cup
Franks Buffalo Hot Wing Sauce - add less depending on your like for 'hot', (my
fav, mix bottle of sauce with 1 cube melted butter and it makes the BEST Buffalo
wings ever!) I also added half a cube of butter, cut up. Just because! An hour
before the end of cooking I added in some broccoli and carrot slices (from a bag
of broccoli stir-fry).
Into Crock*Pot on Low for 5 hours. Garnish with your favs.... shredded
cheese, chopped green onions, parsley, etc. and maybe a drizzle of the Frank's
sauce. So, here's the finished soup. OMGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! Wow, just like eating
liquid Buffalo Wings! I topped mine with some re-constituted dehydrated
chives..
Hint: cook boneless skinless chicken thighs, I get a large tray of them,
in the Crock*Pot for 8 hours covered with low sodium chicken stock. Use and
or freeze. Can make tacos, enchiladas, shred on salad, mix shredded and
mixed with fav mayonnaise and make a perfect sandwich, or put in soup. So many
things to do with them. Good and easy. Chicken thighs are better than chicken breasts because they are more moist and easier to handle.
TV, chair, wine...and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...........
All I know. Happy Hump Day. Nuff said. Ciao.

Becky posted that video of rain in LA and the reaction of people. Hilarious! They were in a panic seeing rain but when an earthquake happened they just laughed! LOL
My patio and cushions are a wet soggy mess! I just went out and folded them over the top of the furniture. No doubt the heat that's coming will dry them in no time. Ahhhhh glorious rain!! Hope you get more!
XO Trisha
May the rain fall softly and often. Locally- it was a nice power-wash. Sending up prayers that what we needed so badly was not a universal blessings.
Guacamole Day? That answers what we'll be eating for debate watching at home.
