Good 45º cloudy damp morning. Yesterday's rain was almost
1/4".
This is going around and I've gotten it from several folks. I
LIKE it!!!
Yesterday friends Larry Tomes (LASD ret) and his bride Karen
were going to be here in the early afternoon for a lunch at Tap Rock. They are
on their way to Washington. Unfortunately they were going to make a pass through
Crater Lake, but it was snowing up there and required chains. Detouring that,
they called from Ashland and said they had breakfast not too long before that
and thought lunch at this early hour was not good and wondered if I minded they
kept on their long trek north. Of course not, they have a long drive ahead of
them. Safe travels guys. Will catch up with you another time!
This is something very soothing... to alleviate the stress of your day...
from my high school pal Mary (Fancher) Zavala...
Ok, the limericks Tuesday fostered the following
...
From Dan P:
There once was a man from
Peru
Who thought limericks should end at line
two
So I sent him the following:
There was a retired deputy named
Dan
He was a displaced Scotsman from his
clan
He liked to wear his
kilt
Carrying a gun in his pouch gave him no
guilt
Because we all know he's the
MAN!
From Brooklyn Vivia:
There once
was a nut named Sue,
Who always knew what to
do.
She’d do it every day
and
In the right
way.
Because that’s the only
way
She
knew
Dave was going to come up yesterday and fix the flat on his tractor, but it
was pouring by the time he got off work. Tractor may sit up there in my pasture
for awhile if this rain keeps up!

I can certainly understand why all 3 of his
wives divorced him, but what I don't understand is why they married the creep in
the first place! Money? Fame?
Just about 3 o'clock the rains started.
Sometimes pretty hard.
The Bruise was in Dude's bed watching it on
the porch!
Later I looked out and saw something shiny up next to the
fence. Remember when Mike saw a mylar balloon up in a tree??? Well, it's
down...
I guess Yellins, Pattersons, and Corsos went to Jacksonville
to the Schoolhouse Brewhouse to celebrate Dee's birthday yesterday. I had that
thing with Larry & Karen that didn't work out and then Dave was supposed to
be up here after 5 so I couldn't go. Will have to find out if that German
Restaurant is good. http://www.fraukemmling.com/
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.
