National Linguini Day
I LOVE clams and linguini.... Here is the perfect recipe:
Oh gawd, now I'm drooling!!!
LINGUINE
or LINGUINIThis pasta is accurately called linguine,
its Italian name, but the word became Americanized to linguini. Show you’re a
food connoisseur and use the original Italian! Originating in the Liguria region
of northern Italy, linguine (lin-GWEE-nay), Italian for “little tongues,” is a
narrow, flat version of round spaghetti (it is sometimes referred to as flat
spaghetti). It is a narrower version of fettuccine.

Linguine is often paired with white or red clam sauce, butter and
cheese or cream sauces; but it is so versatile that it works with almost any
type of pasta sauce. Pesto al Genovese (basil, pine nuts, Pecorino cheese, extra
virgin olive oil and garlic) is popularly served with linguini; as is a sauce
made of cream, peas and
prosciutto.

Oh what a sweet video rescuing that poor little scared baby deer. That mom was sure brave and smart to figure out how to rescue him. I found it interesting that the mom did it while the dad just took the video. I would have thought it would be the other way around.
Prayers for all those people in the line of the fire, especially for Jeannie. Sure hope she doesn't need to evacuate. Been there, done that and it is so frightening.
XO Trisha
Yes, I loved that video too, but worried at first and like you T, I thought the husband should have been doing the rescue instead of holding the camera! Also..... it's Jennifer not Jeannie who is in the evacuation area. Just sayin'. xoxo
Oh dear. Sorry I got the names mixed up. Well I will pray for the safety of Jennifer and her neighbors too.
XO Trisha
Your Bruiser is just like our Toby Tuxedo, he just loves rubbing on your shoes and if they are off, he gets inside them and rubs around, a couple of nut cats....Dave and Pam
